Visiting Grandma Thomas and Family

After a road trip to Doylestown PA to meet the rest of my family, Carrig has now been to 5 of the 50 states and he isn’t even 3 months old yet. With climbing season fast approaching his tick list will quickly be filled up as we travel to Kentucky, New Hampshire, and Maine in the upcoming months. My little man is so well traveled and now that his passport has arrived he can (and will) travel out of the country. I was a bit nervous driving because this was the longest road trip Carrig had been on and I was doing this drive by myself with the crazy dogs while Thom was in North Carolina for a meeting. In the end I couldn’t have asked for a better passenger! Carrig was perfect there and back. But, don’t worry, there was plenty of excitement on this trip. It is actually difficult to figure out what was most notable. Could it be when the dogs got loose at the rest stop making me run around like a crazy person trying to corral them while Carrig waited patiently in his Bumbo seat in the parking lot alongside the car? Or was it the torrential down pour that caused me to hydroplane at 60mph on the highway on the way back? Either way, Carrig and I were happy to have made the trip and here are some pictures to prove it.
